![]() ![]() For example, the vinyl line in the image below appears a little patchy, with small white bits however, in reality it was a perfectly solid line and it only looked that way because the light reflected from it. I personally prefer the Nyx Matte Liquid Liner because it creates solid matte lines whereas the Vinyl ones has a shiny finish to it which can sometimes look like it’s patchy, even though it’s not, because of the way the light reflects from it. They are suitable for many different styles of lines and looks and can be used on any eye shape and size. The Nyx Liquid Liners work very well and last all day. These liners also work very well over eyeshadows, as the colour is solid. Mistakes are also easy to fix as the liners don’t dry instantly. The brush is thin and you can control how much liquid is on it easily, by brushing it off in the product tube. The Nyx Liquid Liners don’t come off if you simply pat them after they dry but do fade away if you rub them or come in contact with water/tears.īoth Nyx Liners are very easy to use and produce solid coloured lines. They are not waterproof and come off easily with water but again they fade away rather than smudge so whatever accident you might have won’t look that bad! Even then though, they tend to just fade away than smudge. They are very affordable and last for 3 months+ depending on usage.īoth Nyx Liquid Liners last all day long without smudging or coming off, unless you directly run them. However, Nyx also has a slightly different line called Vivid Brights Liner which comes in a few different and bright colours.īoth Nyx Liquid Liners, Matte and Vinyl, contain 2mL of product and retail for £7. This means that when you open your makeup drawer or bag, you can’t quickly identify which liner is which, you have to read the label. The Matte and Vinyl versions of it look exactly the same, both outer package and product package-wise, with the only difference being the words Matte and Vinyl at the front of the packaging. It is very travel friendly but there is one disadvantage. I love how simple and elegant this liner is and how little space it takes in a makeup bag.
